Dr. Giorgio Ilacqua is a Registered Psychologist with The College of Psychologists of Ontario. His academic training includes: Ed.D., Counselling from the University of Toronto and a Dottorato in Psicologia from the Universita’ degli Studi di Parma, Italy. He is certified in Impairment and Disability Rating (American Board of Forensic Professionals, AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, 4th ed.).
Dr. Giorgio Ilacqua’s professional experience includes: consulting psychologists with the Workplace Compensation and Insurance Board (WSIB); community psychologist Correctional Services of Canada-CSC- (community sex offender program and community general offender program); assistant professor (Centennial College); psychologist and chief psychologist (Ministry of Solicitor General and Correctional Services) at Metro West Detention Centre, Millbrook Correctional Centrea and the Vanier Centre for Women. He has been in private practice since 1993 and has an extensive experience working with adolescents, women and men involved in the legal system. He has presented at many national and international conferences on topics such as offender assessment and rehabiliation, resourcefulness and resilience to trama as well as on guided imagery. He is a regular contributor to the local media on current topics related to psychology.
Dr. Marino is a Registered Psychologist, with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, in good standing. In addition to his private practice where he conducts Independent Insurer Examinations, Section 24 Assessments, WSIB Assessments and sleep consultations, he held a position with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board as a psychology consultant in the Clinical Services Branch. He is a member of the Canadian Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology (CRHSPP), Ontario Psychological Association and Canadian Sleep Society.
Dr. Monique Costa El-Hage is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, in good standing. She graduated from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto in 2007. She received formal clinical training at York Central Hospital, working with children and adolescents with anxiety and mood issues, as well as at The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in the Youth Concurrent Disorder Program, where she worked with youth with substance use and concurrent emotional and psychological issues.
Dr. Monique Costa El-Hage conducts psychological assessments, psychoeducational assessments and individual and group therapy. She works from a cognitive-behavioural framework. She is also a certified Cogmed Practitioner.
