Our psychologists conduct Comprehensive Psychological Assessments, Catastrophic Psychological Assessments and Psychovocational/Career Psychological Assessments to evaluate your client’s current psychological functioning and provide recommendations for future treatment and career planning. Psychological treatment includes individual, family and group psychotherapy to address trauma, adjustment issues, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, sleep difficulties and changes in activities of daily living.
Dr. Giorgio Ilacqua (psychologist) and Dr. Alfonso Marino (psychologist) have previously worked as consulting psychologists with the Workplace Compensation and Insurance Board (WSIB). Dr. Giorgio Ilacqua has been certified in Impairment and Disability Rating (America Board of Forensic Professionals, AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, 4th ed.).
Dr. Monique Costa El-Hage (psychologist) assesses and provides treatment to preschoolers, children and adolescents. Such assessments include a parent-child component with the consideration of developmental and attachment issues. Psychological treatment might include Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and play therapy.
We conduct Forensic Psychological Assessments in the following areas:

Phallometric testing can also be arranged as part of the Forensic Psychological Assessment.
Upon the completion of the psychological assessment, a thorough, concise and timely report provides a summary of risk factors and specific recommendations. Psychotherapy and counselling can be provided to address anger management, trauma, impulse control, mood and personality issues, interpersonal and coping skills.
Dr. Giorgio Ilacqua (psychologist) has previously worked as a community psychologist at the Correctional Services of Canada (CSC; community sex offender program and community general offender program) and as a psychologist and chief psychologist (Ministry of Solicitor General and Correctional Services) at Metro West Detention Centre, Millbrook Correctional Centre and the Vanier Centre for Women. He contributed to the examination of predictive utility of a popular risk assessment tool: Level of Service Inventory—Revised (LSI-R). He has extensive experience working with adolescents, women and men involved in the legal system. He has presented at many national and international conferences on topics such as offender assessment and rehabilitation.
